This commitment to excellence is reflected in our AAHA accreditation, a distinction we have proudly upheld for over 30 years.

Wellness Care

Wellness exams significantly enhance the likelihood of detecting health issues early, before symptoms manifest and become severe or costly to treat. Regular blood work provides a comprehensive snapshot of your pets’ internal functions.

Vaccinations are crucial for protecting your furry family members against common diseases. Monthly preventive treatments ensure you won’t have to worry about flea infestations or deadly parasites. While fleas and ticks pose serious risks, so do overeating and obesity-related complications. That’s why we offer nutritional counseling to help pets achieve a healthy weight and improve their eating habits.

Internal Medicine

Physical examinations and preventive care, including vaccinations and dental care, form the cornerstone of a long and healthy life for your pet. We take pride in offering a progressive vaccination program tailored to each animal’s specific needs.

In addition to this, we provide a wide array of essential medical services. These include dermatology, behavioral counseling, nutritional and dietary consultations, pain management, and the treatment of various diseases across many species.

Surgery

We understand that surgery can be a daunting prospect when it comes to a beloved furry family member. However, most pets will require at least one surgical procedure during their lifetime. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff creates an individualized plan for each pet, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostics and monitoring equipment to minimize risks during anesthesia and surgery. Our surgical suite is fully equipped with the latest technology, enabling us to perform both routine procedures, such as spaying and neutering, as well as advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

Dentistry

Dental health is a crucial aspect of your pet’s overall well-being, essential for preventing periodontal disease that can lead to serious infections of the heart, lungs, or kidneys.

The most effective way to reduce plaque and tartar is by brushing your pet’s teeth daily with pet-safe toothpaste. Alternatively, oral rinses or water additives can be used. However, even the best home care cannot replace regular veterinary dental cleanings, which utilize many of the same hand and power instruments as your own dentist. Biannual exams with your veterinarian will assess the condition of your pet’s teeth and determine the recommended frequency for professional cleanings under anesthesia. Our state-of-the-art dental suite includes digital radiography to accurately identify the need for extractions during oral surgery.

Diagnostic Services

At Animal Medical Center, our diagnostic tools enable us to accurately identify the root causes of medical conditions and deliver the highest quality care for your pet. From laser treatments to the latest advances in digital x-ray technology and ultrasound, our comprehensive range of veterinary tools plays a crucial role in maintaining your pet’s health for years to come. We offer both in-house diagnostics and collaborate with various reference laboratories to ensure the most precise results. Rest assured, we are committed to doing everything in our power to help your pets feel better!

Dermatology & Allergy Care

Although allergies cannot be cured, advancements in veterinary medicine have significantly improved our ability to manage their symptoms. Dermatological issues and allergies are among the most frequent reasons pets visit the veterinarian beyond routine care. Pets can suffer from a range of skin problems, including allergies, bacterial and fungal infections, parasites, masses, and other conditions. These issues can cause considerable discomfort and may be recurring.

We are dedicated to alleviating your pet’s discomfort by accurately diagnosing the underlying issue, treating the current problem, and providing ongoing care to minimize or prevent recurrence. In addition to our extensive experience in dermatology and allergy management, we offer Heska allergy testing. This advanced testing can help identify specific allergens and tailor treatment through immunotherapy drops or injections, providing targeted relief for your pet’s allergies. We are committed to improving your pet’s quality of life and are eager to assist with their needs.

Pain Management

It is a wonderful advancement in medicine that we have the ability to manage most discomfort our patients have. Our staff is trained to recognize the signs of discomfort since your pet cannot tell us when or where it hurts. We have an onsite pharmacy that allows us to use multiple types and modes of pain management including injectable, oral, and transdermal medications to ensure your pet is comfortable as fast as possible and for as long as necessary.  In fact, therapeutic laser treatment is one of those emerging technologies that helps promote healing, reduces inflammation and reduces pain.  We have experience managing discomfort related to arthritis, cancer, injuries, and surgical procedures. Your pet’s comfort is our top priority.

“I had an awesome experience!  AMC Wyoming was able to get my dog in right away for a swollen eye.  I did not have to wait long after check in. Dr. Ledergerber did a thorough exam of my pet and put together a plan for treatment.  I was offered coffee in the waiting room. The medications prescribed started to work after the first day. In my opinion, my pets medical bill was affordable and fair.  Everyone was efficient and friendly.”
