Appointment Cancellation Policy

Delays can happen. However, we must try to keep our patients and doctors on time. There are a finite number of appointments available each day. Should you end up not needing to bring your pet in for any reason, kindly give 24-hour’s notice so that we can schedule other patients during that time. Clients who no-show or cancel with less than adequate notice will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to schedule future appointments with our office.

Our grooming cancellation policy can be found at amcwyoming.com/grooming

  1. Cancellation/ No Shows:
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment with enough notice, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to show up and we are unable to schedule you for a visit due to a seemingly “full” appointment book. If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, a fee may be incurred.
  2. Late Arrivals:
Delays can happen. However, we must try to keep our patients and doctors on time. If a patient arrives past their scheduled appointment time, we may have to reschedule.
  3. Surgery/Dental procedures:
Due to the large block of time needed for surgery, last minute cancellations or no-shows can cause problems and added expenses for the office. If a surgical or dental procedure is not cancelled at least 2 business days in advance, a fee may be incurred.
