Lauren grew up in southern Ohio, where she enjoyed hiking with her dog Mocha. She attended Ohio State University, where she obtained a degree in Animal Sciences. During college, Lauren became involved in non-profit organizations working with exotics and wildlife. After getting her footing in animal care she pursued an internship at the Wolf Education and Research Center in Idaho, developing a foundation in wolf behavior and conservation. Through her experiences, she has enjoyed getting to know and love all animals she has cared for. When Lauren is not working she enjoys going on adventures with her two dogs, camping, swimming and skiing.
