Michele is the Manager of the Patient Care team, consisting of our many Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Technician Assistants. Her degree from Michigan State University in Animal Science and many years of experience make Michele one of our most proficient animal care professionals. She has been with AMC for eight years. She can be found multi-tasking on a daily basis at Animal Medical Center - whether it is managing the activities of the LVT team, delivering great care to our patients or thinking of ways to improve our patient care.
On her days off, Michele and her family run a 100 head beef ranch that includes lots of other animals like goats, chickens, and pets. Her pets include Jack, a Jack Russell Terrier, Ruby and Merri a mother-daughter border collie team. She enjoys gardening and watching over her nieces and nephews.

She also likes to garden, fish and go biking when not entertaining her 2 year old son, goats, chickens and 11 year old puggle Emma. Stephanie is a graduate of Michigan State University's LVT program. She has been married for five years to Jason and volunteers at the Kent Special Riding program, which is a therapeutic riding center for people with disabilities. Stephanie is awesome at educating our clients on their pet's health and assisting our doctors with patient care and exams.

Becca's trademark personality is legendary to everyone who works at Animal Medical Center. She brings levity to the work life at AMC, with her infinite curiosity and inquisitive nature. Becca and her husband, Jerry, have been married for 7 years and have 2 sons. Becca's undergraduate degree in Biology from GVSU preceded her LVT degree from Baker College. Becca started with AMC working in the kennel before returning to school to get her veterinary technology degree - so she's almost grown up with us! She loves to read, jog and spend time outdoors with her boys.

Sue started at AMC as a Pet Attendant, as a high school student. Almost eight years and a college degree later, she is one of our most experienced licensed veterinary technicians. Sue graduated from Michigan State University's rigorous LVT program and has a special interest in animal behavior. She has two dogs Maya and Tia, who love to swim with the family while they camp. Her cat, Skittles rounds out the animal part of the family. Husband Jeff and their two boys make up the human part! Sue and her family love to camp, play softball, bowl and garden. Sue can't imagine a career doing anything else that would make her happier than delivering top-quality, loving care to all our animal patients. She has a strong interest in animal behavior and will begin to offer new puppy and behavior classes in the spring.

Delena is our top technician in client education and nutrition. She is always coming up with new ideas for us to implement at Animal Medical Center and is very passionate about recycling. Delena exudes creativity and seems to make herself (and many of the staff here) a new purse every month (she can sew just about anything). She has also been learning to play the violin for the past year, and at home has two dogs and one cat. She was born in Ludington, Michigan.

Singing in a talent show may be too scary for some of us, but not for Carrie! She sang with two friends in front of a large crowd. Even if they were bad, they all still had fun. Now you can find Carrie working as a Pet Attendant at the AMC. Her favorite thing to do is illustrate pictures and draw sketches of anything. Carrie has three cats and one dog. Her cats' names are Tweek, Booya and Dina while her dog's name is Baxter.

Ashley graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007. She's the clinic cowgirl - as a barrel racer with her horses Ranger, Frankie and Echo. She is a member of the National Barrel Horse Association. Along with her horses, Ashley and her husband Casey have a Yorkie, Jameson, who is the cutest dog in the world! and a cat Gibson, who is the world's first "fluff-a-luff-a-gus!" She hopes to someday get a Vet Tech Specialty in anesthesia while enjoying horseback riding, giving horseback riding lessons, going to Tigers' games and the beach, scrap-booking, camping and just being outdoors. |

She loves tubing and water skiing with her family in the summer. |
