Dr. Marc Leven founded the Animal Medical Center of Wyoming in March of 1983 with a staff of two – himself and one licensed veterinary technician. The original facility was established with a vision of providing comprehensive, high quality medical and surgical care for small companion animals to clients in southwest Grand Rapids and continues to be a leading animal hospital in Michigan. Our clinic is a member of the mere 15% of veterinary hospitals nation-wide to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
Our practice has grown from its original site to one three times as large with a staff of thirty-five: six veterinarians, four managers, ten veterinary technicians, seven client care members, four pet care specialists, a pet styling team of three and one operations specialist.
Our capabilities in the areas of surgery, diagnostics, internal medicine and imaging have also advanced greatly. Today, our hospital offers a full line of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a full-service pharmacy and laboratory, state-of-the-art imaging and surgical facilities and the most modern outpatient treatments available. In addition, we offer clients full-service boarding and grooming, behavioral consultations, preventative medicine and dentistry.
To provide high quality pet health and wellness services to assist your pet in living a longer, happier, and healthier life. To provide our clients with access to leading edge products and services and authoritative educational content focusing on enhancing the human/animal bond.
